Fearless Founder in the News

We like to highlight when being fearless is working for someone. And who better than one of our own Fearless Founders?

Bob Alberti frequently submits his comments, articles, and opinions in general to many publications around town and outside of it. If he feels his opinion is valid, nothing is going to stop him from expressing it. What else is the internet for (you know, the thing that he almost invented under the guise of Gopher)?

Here’s the low-down: Minneapolis was recently ranked #1 in parks by The Trust for Public Lands, beating out NYC by a landslide. A writer/gardener/NYC resident named Hampton commented that Minneapolis shouldn’t count because it’s “in like, Canada or something.” City Pages did an article about Minneapolis being awesome and other cities giving us shit about it, including the above comment.

Alberti, who is also a part of Fearless Partner Vilification Tennis, got into a bit of a back-and-forth with Hampton. Since Bob frequently posts his opinions on City Pages, they recognized him and updated their story to reflect that.

Star Tribune found out about the whole thing and decided to post their own article about Bob.

That’s an awful lot of publicity over an internet tussle.

If you want to hear more ideas and opinions from Alberti, he’ll be emceeing our next Fearless Lab, this Tuesday, 7:30pm at Honey MPLS.
