Reviews for Caucasian-Aggressive Pandas are Coming In

panda mariahOpening night for “Caucasian-Aggressive Pandas and Other Mulatto Tales” was a great success and reviewers agree it is a smart and funny show!

Laura VanZandt from One Girl, Two Cities had this to say about the cast:

Director Jena Young is lucky to have found herself a cast with such great chemistry and spot-on comedic timing to tackle such a sensitive subject

and she concludes:

Pandas covers some serious ground when it comes to the topic of race, but the comedy balances it out and turns it into a truly all-around excellent show.

We also received a review from Rob Callahan at American Underground.

He had this to say:

All in all, Pandas exemplifies the kind of tense marriage between lofty social commentary and low brow gags that fill Fearless Comedy Productions’ wheelhouse. For that, Washington’s show probably couldn’t have found a better home. The script’s keen, dark hilarity couldn’t have been better if Dave Chappelle and Mark Twain had collaborated on it.

We hope you make an effort to see the show, you will be glad you took the time to laugh about racism!

As of this post, Caucasian-Aggressive Pandas and Other Mulatto Tales has two remaining performances on November 20th & 21st at 7:00 PM.  Advance tickets are available at www.bryantlakebowl.com.  Please note that the theater does not sell advance tickets on the day of the performance.
