While Chrys actually does have a degree in theatre, she finds it extremely ironic that the things she hated in college – acting and costuming – are now the things she does most often.
Chrys began her performance career in 2003 at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. She performed as a street character in the entertainment department for eight years, and now entertains patrons as a volunteer with the Shakopee Jaycees, helping keep Festival patrons amply supplied with adult beverages. Chrys joined the cast of Vilification Tennis in 2005, and currently serves as managing director.
In her non-artsy life, Chrys manages an apartment building. She also enjoys making Victorian dresses, watching geeky shows and films, and forcing her husband Peter to help her write new insults.
